Week Six Players of the Week Announced
Prospect League announces the ArmCare.com Pitcher of the Week and the Hitter of the Week for the sixth week of the 2025 season.
MAHOMET, Ill. – The Prospect League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for week six of the 2025 season from July 1 to July 7.
The Week 6 Hitter of the Week is Ivan Vega from the Jackson Rockabillys and Bethel University.
In 5 games and 23 at-bats this past week, Vega hit .522 with a league-leading 5 doubles and 20 total bases to go along with 12 hits, 7 runs scored, 6 runs batted in, and a 1.392 on-base + slugging percentage.
Vega appeared in 38 games this past spring for Bethel, batting .275 with 33 hits, 11 runs scored, and 25 runs batted in.
The Week 6 ArmCare.com Pitcher of the Week is Parker Primeaux from the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp and McNeese State University.
In 2 games and 5.2 innings pitched this past week, Primeaux recorded a 0.00 ERA with no hits, 1 walk, 12 strikeouts, and 1 save.
Primeaux pitched in 23 games this past spring for McNeese, working 22.1 innings on the mound with 22 strikeouts and a 5.24 ERA.
