Taking on the Prospect League's newly-created Manager, Digital & Strategic Content role in 2023, Lucas Burris spearheads expanding and enhancing the League’s digital presence as a leading summer collegiate baseball league. He manages the league's social media strategy and has led the league's social growth from under 100,000 total impressions in 2022 to over 1.5 million impressions during the 2024 season. During the 2023 season, he hosted the Prospect League Podcast, interviewing prominent league alumni and current players on a weekly basis.

Burris also serves as the Assistant General Manager and Play-By-Play Voice of the Prospect League's Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp, where he directs the club's radio and PLTV broadcasts, website, promotions, graphics, and social media channels.

A 2022 graduate of North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, Burris spent 4 years as a member of the flagship radio station at North Central, WONC. A play-by-play announcer for all four years, Burris broadcast over 200 baseball, softball, basketball, and football games during his time. In 2020, he was named WONC Sports Director and directed WONC's renowned sports department for two years which included a trip to the 2021 NCAA Division III National Championship with North Central Football. In 2021, he was named Station Manager and spearheaded WONC's station rebrand including creating the station's new logo. Burris capped his North Central career off by being named North Central College Broadcast Student of the Year prior to graduation.
